Just to let you know that so far, so good! Lucas has had 2 full days at his new school and he seems to enjoy it. The rules are very different from his old place so that must be confusing for him, but he seems to be a real trooper about it. He has made some friends and the teachers are working well with him to help him settle in. There are also some reports of him eating his vegetables at lunch time (the school provides hot lunches -yay!) but I think they just say that to make me feel better.
Different news: his speech assessor came over yesterday afternoon and in a very playful way (while Lucas lounged on the sofa) got him to say a wide range of words and sounds. It was very cleverly done. She is observing him in school on Monday and then we will meet to discuss the way forward. Pics below.
